Continued Normal....

It's Hump Day! Yeah, we are narrowing in on 2 1/2 weeks left in here, or at least until Mallory arrives, I guess I'll be here for a day or two after that, but those days will be much more exciting than the continued norm I've had for the past 5 1/2 weeks.

Susan got our kitchen painted on Sunday....only took 1 1/2 years to finally get it done! Mom cleaned house while Susan painted, so it was nice for Ben to come home Monday to a cleaner house with kitchen walls that are finally fully painted! Now he's almost done with the wallpaper removal in the guest bathroom, so we may finally be able to get that painted and ready for Mallory!

John came Monday evening to help Ben put up the Attic pull down door in the garage so Ben can finally get some of those totes up in the attic with crap in it that we finally sorted through before my whole hospital episode. John then came back yesterday and got the crown up in the nursery and put in the movable closet shelving system in the closet in the nursery. Ben sent me a little video of it all last night and it looks great! Now on to actually get the furniture set up in there.

Some of the doctors are still talking about the possibility of testing the amnionic fluid next week to check lung development...apparently the team of Doctor's here are split about 50/50 on whether or not to deliver at 32 weeks if the lungs are developed or just waiting to 34 weeks. After touring the NICU, I think Ben and I have pretty much decided that regardless, if she is still doing well and not stressed, we are going to wait until 34 weeks. I've read that they start gaining 1/2 a pound a week at this phase, so I'd much rather wait to 34 weeks as long as the risk of her being inside is not higher than the risk of being out. With little to no amnionic fluid, the risk of being in becomes higher after 34 weeks, so as long as all stays stable, I'm pretty sure we will just stick it out to 34 weeks.

Today was group session today, yeah, a chance to get out of the room! There were 5 of us today, 3 new ones. Just me and Kierston, the Ag teacher from Muhlenburg, are the only 2 consistant ones here. Two more from Louisville and 1 from Breckenridge today. One of the Louisville girls was here because she had been leaking fluid as well.

So, of course, George came as well, LOL! So here's a couple pictures of George hitching a ride in my purse to the meeting, making himself at home on the podium and in one of the chairs in the room. It's helping to pass the time, so I don't really care how crazy I am!! Everyone just gets a big kick out of it!

I agree. They pulled the same "let's deliver at 32 week" game with me. Not for me...go for 34, that was my plan, Gunner's was 33. It all worked out. I am now officially addicted to your blog.

Thanks Christi, I'm getting a little crazy stuck in here and all this gnome stuff, but it helps to pass the time and we are holding out to 34 weeks!!
