Wednesday night I noticed Bean was coughing some and had a runny nose. That got me worried, I knew 2 kiddos in Owensboro who had RSV, one in the hospital, so that's where my mind initially goes. The next couple days it didn't seem to get any worse, but not any better either.
We went on down to Mom and Dads since Ben wasn't going to be home until Sunday. She seemed to get kinda rattly in her breathing but she continued to act like she felt fine and was eating and drinking.
We decided to play it safe and go to the Dr to get checked out. They checked her oxygen saturations, which was 94% when she arrived, not ideal but not highly alarming. The did an rsv test, which she hated, I don't think I've ever heard her cry so much. You had to swab each nasal cavity and she didn't like it one bit. Then they gave her a breathing treatment, didn't like that either. Bad news, rsv test came back positive and she has a slight eat infection. Good news, she responded well to the breathing treatments and her says were back to 100% afterwards, so we go home with a list of things to look for in case it gets worse. We are also the owners of this lovely nebulizer, at least they are cuter than when Susan was little.

Yes, it looks like a panda bear!
So, we are home all week getting better, another week of not getting much done at work, but at least Ben is here to take care of Tucker's meds since we have a lot to keep up with!
Oh, and the other highlight of the weekend, we got stickers to decorate Beans helmet, it turned out pretty cute!

So, keep Bean in your thoughts in hopes that we can fight the rsv from home and not require a hospital stay.
