We got the bulk of everything in the semi trailer Friday and Saturday morning and we were headed south in a convoy by 11 am on Saturday morning.
Everything was crammed full and we didn't even have everything out of the house, just the stuff we needed! Stay tuned for move part 2 once we sell the house.
Thankfully we had good weather, it was cool, in the mid 40's or so, but no rain. At least we didn't get hot!
Dad manuvered the semi like a pro and got all our goods down safe and sound. We got everything unloaded Saturday afternoon and then my job began, finding a place for it all.
I worked Sunda and Monday to get unpacked. I wasn't intending on unpacking so much on Monday, but the cable man, who was supposed to show up between 8 am and noon showed up at 12:30 and didn't leave until 4. Needless to say I didn't get much real work done that day.
We got internet hooked up at the house and the phone should be turned on Friday the 23rd.
I've pretty much got everything set up the way I want, just need a fridge and some shelving for a pantry. Otherwise, we should be good to go.

I'm going to try to take a little video tour so you can see our set up, probably after Christmas.
I have been too busy unpacking to take many pictures this week, but last Wednesday night we did take Bean to see the Christmas lights at Legion Park in Owensboro, so here's a few of those for your viewing pleasure.
