23 Months!!

23 Months Old!

How did munchkin get to be 23 months old!  Crazy. Invitations came in this weekend and will go out here in the next week
or so.  They turned out so cute, love
Etsy!

It’s hard to believe that we’ve been back in Elkton almost 3
months!  We are adjusting well.  I LOVE that my commute to work is only 2.5
miles now and I can easily just go home for lunch.  Also means I don’t have to leave the house
until 7:45 instead of 7:15!

It’s just nice to be home during the weekends.  I can get more stuff accomplished, although I
still never get all accomplished that I want, but oh well.
Stormy weather was all the issue this past week and luckily
we had no major storms pass through Elkton or any damage at the other house in
Utica.  I am glad that the house we are
in now does have 2 basements actually, so I guess we can take our pick as to
which one to go running to if need be!
Friday I had to go to the Commodity Classic Trade Show in
Nashville so Mallory and Ben just went with me. We ran into Crystal and Grant Norwood, sat out in the hall of the hotel
for the Tornado Warnings on Friday, and then after the show went down to Cock
of the Walk for some dinner.  I love
their huge rocking chair!!

Back home Friday night to get up early to head to
Shelbyville, KY to go to one of Ben’s dealers open houses.  We all went because Ben bribed me with
shopping in Louisville.  The dealer had a
little Kawasaki 50 4-wheeler in their show room which Mallory instantly fell in
love with and hopped on like she knew exactly what she was doing.  Of course riding 4-wheelers is in her DNA, so
who knows, maybe she does know!  But, she’s
not going to get a chance for several more years, she can’t drive her stick
horse around the house without hitting something, she’s not driving a 4 wheeler
anytime soon!

Ben’s  version and my version of shopping are 2
different things but I did get by my fav running store in Louisville to get
some new shoes, but then he had enough of shopping and traffic and after a trip
to Target that was it.

Back home again and then Bean and I went with Mom and Susan
on Sunday to the Lawn and Garden Show in Nashville.  Lots of flowers and amazing landscaping!  One area had baby ducks that the kids could
hold and pet.  Mallory LOVED the little
baby duck.  She did not want to give it
back to the man in the booth!

That was pretty much our weekend, Ben’s parents will be in
this weekend, so we should have lots of pictures for next week!
