Here she is after her first hair cut on Wednesday! We took some pictures at Aunt Sharon's.
Her first hair cut went way better than I expected! She was great, liked watching herself in the mirror and Amy's birthday present arrived perfectly (thank you by the way, super cute dress too) and it kept her distracted with a new toy! We went to get celebratory ice cream afterwards!!
I'm totally amazed that she will be 2! So much has changed in the last year. I'm putting together her year 2 birthday video and it's just amazing. I think the time between 1-2 is even more of a change than birth to 1!
I've got presents wrapped, birthday cake ordered, helium found (apparently there was a shortage in Elkton??) and stuff is ready! Just gotta iron that cute Elmo dress and I found her white squeaker sandals today to wear with it!!
This weekend was pretty slow. Ben headed over to the Lake on Friday afternoon to spend the weekend crappie fishing with his bud Nathan, so they had a low key weekend fishing and brought home some fish for frying later!!
Bean and I spent Saturday am cleaning house. Yuck. I've never liked it and it never gets better!
I forgot to mention that Friday evening after work Bean, Sue and I ran my Prematurity Sucks Virtual 5K again! This time with our race bibs. So fun!!
Saturday afternoon we had our Bunco Tournament for Relay for Life. It was fun, we all had a good time and had a pretty good turnout.
Saturday night was off to Clarksville to dinner with Mom, Dad, Sue & Nick. Mallory loves sucking on limes??
Sunday am Susan and I got up to pound out our 4.5 mile training run for our upcoming 10K. I enjoyed it. Susan might beg to differ but she did great and I'm looking forward to this race in Nashville on April 14!!
Then a quick trip to Target after our run and spent the rest of the afternoon and evening at home! Ben finally got back around 4pm.
Time to party this weekend for the big 2!!
