So, I've now been in the hospital for a week and 1 day, had my temperature taken 9 million times, blood pressure 3 million times and asked if there is anything they can get me 15 million times, but so far it hasn't been anywhere near as bad as I would have imagined.
The foods not bad, although now that I've been here a week, I'll end up eating the same thing every Tuesday at lunch or Friday at dinner, but I've only had one or two things that were slightly less than desirable.
I am now done with my antiobiotics, so that will save one interruption at midnight to give me a pill. I do wish I could have a do not disturb sign like in hotels because they start coming in here way too early every mornning!
We had another ultrasound on Friday and Mallory is doing great. She met all 8 points that they were looking for, which I now don't recall what those points where but she was moving, practicing breathing, had a good heart rate and my fluid levels were still good, so all that is very positive!
The nurse told me today that they are actually going to do another ultrasound on Monday and Thursday. I'm either leaking very little now or almost none, so there is the SLIGHT chance that the leak was a "high leak" whatever that is, and it could potentially heal itself and if my fluid levels did start increasing, they might let me go home. I'm not getting my hopes up because my guess is that if they did let me go home I'd probably still be on bedrest until she is born, but we will see.
Other than that, Ben is my room buddy over the weekend. Mom left Sat morning and Dad and Sue came up for the afternoon and Dad bribed some wing out of a wheel chair so we could go for a spin around the hospital. Ben will be here until Tuesday morning and the Mom will come back Wednesday.
Hopefully Mallory will continue to cooperate and stay in the womb and grow!!
