2 Weeks Down!

Well, we have made it past the 2 week hurdle, yeah! And, I'm officially 28 weeks today on my count, so at this point and further the survival rate is pretty much 100%, so we are in a much better place than 2 weeks ago. They said if we can get you past 2 weeks we think we can get you to 34 weeks, so hopefully we are just in waiting mode right now, waiting for 32-34 weeks when we will get to meet Mallory, who still has no middle name!

We've had a good weekend with lots of visitors. Tiffany came down and spent some time Friday afternoon and then again Saturday morning and she brought Panera for luch, sure beats the food in the hospital!! Ben wheeled me down to McDonalds for ice cream Saturday afternoon and then Jake and Misty surprised me by coming by to see me while they were in town for a little weekend get-a-way, it was great to see them!! Then Susan and Nick came in.

Ben's stay in the hospital has been made better when one of the nurses we really like told him he could bring in a little cooler and have some beers in the room, so he's much happier now! So, he and Nick had a few beers in the room and then they went out to the Spaghetti Factory and brought me back some for dinner. Mom and Memaw are on their way up today, so it will be a very active weekend, as active as it can be while I sit here in bed!

I got to skype in to home Friday night and see Ben and Tucker, I just love technology! I haven't gotten to see Tucker in 2 weeks now and I've never gone that long without seeing my Tucker!! It was really funny because he could hear me but I don't think he ever quite got that I was on the computer screen because he kept turning his head from side to side. It's like he could hear me but couldn't figure out why he couldn't fine me, really funny! So, at least we can do that a couple times a week so I can see him too!

Nothing else excititng in the hospital. Ben and I are having a very lazy Sunday morning today and he's going to go out later today and bring back Cheesecake Factory for dinner while we watch Couples Retreat....about as close to date night as we are going to get for a little while! Works for me, I don't even have to fix my hair or put on makeup for that date. Although I did have Ben finally bring me my hair dryer, makeup and straightner. After 2 weeks of never really "getting ready" you feel a little frumpy, so I might actually try to "fix up" a little one day and take one of those ridiculous belly pictures that everyone keeps asking me for.
