My whole body hurts! I've got to slow down, and I did take it easy this morning, decided to just lay around the camper this morning and try to get some rest. I knew if she was still on the photo therapy mat I couldn't hold her for long anyway.
I'm also still trying to upload 2 videos from last night and just can't get a fast enough connection, so I'll keep trying.
I got to the hospital around noon today and she was just snoozing away! They took out her IV because she is getting enough fluids now through her feedings. The nurse practicioner said her jaundice levels are down good so they unplugged the photo therapy. They will check her levels again tomorrow and make sure they are staying down.
Ben came in around 12:45, so we went down to the cafeteria and had lunch and at 2 I could try to feed her again.
I went back up and we got to attempt to breast feed, which was rather comical. The lactation consultant came in and was helping me and when Mallory would get a little milk she would just grin....it was just so funny, she was really enjoying it.
She didn't get much that way, so we fed her the rest of the way through the feeding tube and I just got to rock her for over an hour while the milk went in.
Since she was done with photo therapy, she got to put on one of her onseys that we brought. So I'll have to take a picture tonight of her in her little outfit. Just so darn cute!!
We are resting at the moment and will grill some dinner and head back to the hospital for an evening visit later tonight, but we are so happy she doing so good! Now she just has to build up some endurance so she can eat all her feeding from the bottle or breast and I have to figure out how to build my endurance back as well!!

Dear Rhonda and Ben,
I just wanted to offer my most sincere congratulations on the birth of your beautiful little girl. It sounds as though she is doing amazing! I am so glad that my blog may have offered some small amount of comfort thru this rollercoaster ride.
Take care of that precious bundle! Maybe next year you will be doing what I am getting ready to next week...celebrating my super preemie by doing the march of dimes walk! Hope your sweet baby is home soon.
