Widget & Whatnot Wednesday ~ Fav Baby iPhone Apps

I have to admit that I haven't had time to but much thought in today's WWW post, but I can always fall back on the neat new iPhone apps that I've discovered.

The latest download I read about in Parenting Magazine, Baby Med Basics, its a great quicky app for easily finding out what to do in medical situations for babies. It has a tab for CPR, Choking, Fever, Bleeding, Burns and Poison and the Poison Control phone number. Great info that will always be handy when you need it!

Next that I find handy is the Child Immunization app. You can add as many children as needed, it keeps their Dr info and when they got all their shots. It is somewhat customizable for those who go off an adjusted vaccine schedule, but it's handy to always know what they've had and when.

Baby 411 by the Bump I've also found handy. It gives quick access to a large number of topics such as, How do I deal with Diaper Rash, Is sunscreen safe for babies, How do I pick a baby formula, Milestones and Development and just a ton of other great stuff!

Tales2Go is really probably more for toddlers to bigger kids, but I like it now for Mallory too, or maybe for me, who knows. Basically it's an audio book app for kids. There's also kid songs. They have all kinds of audio books and you can pick for what age, highest rated, story type, book, etc. I just think it's the coolest thing ever, but we've already established I'm a book nerd. So, I can pull it up and the book is read to us over the speakers in the Edge and then when that book is done it moves onto the next one. So far I like what I've heard. They have some different subscription options, the first 30 days is free and then you can decide from there if you want to purchase by the month, quarter, year, etc.

I've downloaded some other flash card type apps, none of which I've been so impressed with I want to share though.

If you've found some baby/kid apps you like, let me know!!
